IEEE Power and Energy Society is the non-profit worldwide organization of the Electrical and Electronic Engineers, which targets innovative technology and engineering knowledge about electric power and energy.  

IEEE AUST Student Branch is a diverse and distinguished student organization at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology in Bangladesh. Established in 2004, it offers a range of activities, including seminars, technical workshops, competitions, meetings, networking events, and industrial tours, to promote collaboration, education, and professional development for its members. It is the first student branch at a private university in Bangladesh and has garnered both national and international recognition for its impressive accomplishments. 

IEEE Aust Student Branch Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group is a subgroup of the IEEE Aust Student Branch that focuses on supporting and empowering women in engineering. It’s a platform for women to connect, share experiences, and develop professionally. 

The technology that makes information synthesis, transformation, extraction, and interpretation possible is signal processing. It includes the theory, algorithms and their corresponding structures and implementations, as well as applications, all of which are connected to processing information found in a variety of formats that are collectively referred to as signals. For creating, altering, transmitting, and learning from signals, signal processing employs mathematical, statistical, computational, heuristic, and/or linguistic representations, formalisms, modeling tools, and algorithms.

The IEEE Communications Society embraces science, technology, applications, and standards for information organization, collection, and transfer using electronic, optical, and wireless channels and networks. These include, but are not limited to: Systems and network architecture, control, and management; Protocols, software, and middleware; Quality of service, reliability, and security; Modulation, detection, coding, and signaling; Switching and routing; Mobile and portable communications.

AUST IDC has been organizing its flagship event called ‘𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀’ since 2019, keeping “Ideation into Existence” into the tagline. MindSparks has become the largest annual Tech-Fest at Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST), which also comes with a 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗜𝗜𝗧 – 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗲, 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮. AUST IDC has always been welcoming to invite students to showcase their innovative ideas, soft skills, technical aptitudes & knowledge and guide them under supervision of proper mentors. The vast vision of this club is to create a common ground of all departments’ students and let their mighty brains collide. Often the club is appreciated by the phrase: “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀”. AUST IDC has an Official Discord Server to share knowledge by following one-to-one & one-to-many process.
